Anyone help with idea's on correcting speedo after fitting 33's to a standard Patrol

How about just removing the little gear that drives the electronic unit on the gearbox and replacing it with one from a DX? From what I have seen the DX had the taller split rim tyres which are about 32 (???) once you take into account that the speedo usually gives an inflated reading your speedo should be spot on with 33s.

I know this is possible in Isuzus. You can remove the gear in a Rodeo that had standard 205/75 16 and replace with a Jackaroo one that had taller standard tyres.
