i sell them for $10-00 ea .
they are easy to fit .
remove the inside door card .
there are 2 nuts that hold the handle on . + linkages .

u shouldn't have any problems fitting them your self .

when u have the door pull apart lube up all moving parts .
if u require any more info just ask .....

slightly off topic, but does anyone know if you can still get the handle for the lift up 1/2 tailgate on the back of the 40's (without amby doors)... some @%^# busted mine trying to break into it, and the toyo spares parts places tell me no one makes em

I used to break door handles on my Hj47 a lot, now I strengthen them with araldite before I put em on, the only ones I can get up here are really flimsy.

Rob,

There is a way to repair these handles, here is a post to the LCML about it. The link is unfortunately dead, but he used to have all the pics. Maybe you can e-mail him directly to see them again.

Cheers,
Dave

Thanks eveyone.. got a new one this morning and it wasnt too hard to fit..
it was ablessing the handle broke as it was getting harder and harder to open from the outside. theres a little adjusment to make sure the handle opens easily, and that was a bit tricky but once i got it the door opens easy.

Can I ask how much a genuine door handle costs in Oz? In the US these retail for US$73 (AU$100).
