what gear box oil do ya use for the nissans?
is it the same for the diffs and t/case?
and how much oil goes in each

front diff, trans and gearbox take normal gearoil but the rear takes
140 LSD oil. [i've used 85w140 LSD oil in the rear with no problems]

don't have lsd ... got airlockers front n rear
taken me 3 years to get my ute where it is ... :\

i think ARB reccomend using original oil but i cant see any reason why you cant use plain diff oil in the rear arb .
from gregorys gq diesel manual coil 88-93:
front diff-sae80w-90 gl5=5.4 lt.
rear diff-sae ls140 gl5=3.0 lt.
gearbox-sae 75w-90 gl4=3.9 lt.
trans- series 1=sae 80w-90 gl4...2.2 litres.
.series 2=dexron II...2.2 litres.

ARB recomend a good quality LSD oil to be used i beleive.

ya. LSD oil has preservatives in it that will help stop the arir locker seals & o-rings rotting away.
