tb42 weight in a SWB gq?
Anybody knows the total weight of a tb42 engine from a GQ with A/C compresor and everything? without radiator

You only say that cause the 1UZ is lighter. I can't get enuff of em!
i weighed mine at work 330 kgs with all accessories loom etc, weigh my gen this week and see the difference. my truck now sits a full inch higher 81/2 front 91/2 rear. and the springs don't flex at all. i will have to get another set made up. down falls of weight reduction i guess

gen3's arnt that heavy. I took delivery of one at my mums house only to forget that my VK at that time was chocked up on all 4 wheels and the diff etc removed... and wasnt able to get the motor in.
Brainwave... rope around the headers and around our necks.. my mate and i lifted it and walked around the back door with it.
hrmmm i dare say 180 - 200 kgs?? dry weight. no ancillaries on it

no christ no. my tb was that heavy.
i still have to weigh my gen 3 this week i may get around to doing it.
the extra height is with the gen in place when i was tacking my engine mounts compared to the heavy tb

i weighed it last night. 214kgs wet complete except for a/c. got the motor in now looke sweet and has less issues for space than i thought it would.
i made booty fab engine mounts to accept the std holden rubbers as they are far bigger than the nissan ones. i mouned a rev chain too. basically made the chassis look like I_ and the motor -\
