Hey All,

My mates got a 96 Grand Cherokee Limited and wants to lower it.

Can u just get lowered springs?....How much can you drop it?

google is your friend i had a bit of a look while procrastinating and you can get a 2" lowering kit from here http://www.truckxpressions.com/truckaccessories/exterioraccessories/ground_force12.htm both these are american
otherwise i think some mob called eibach make a 1" lowering kit
failing that you could go a custom airbag setup maybe from an aus mob called burnin customs their addy is http://www.burnincustoms.com/
If at first you dont succeed.......get a bigger HAMMER!!!

If you go to the Kings Springs web site, I think they do a 2 inch lowering kits for grands...

how considerate some of the vendors are... i guess they cater for the elderly who struggle to get in such a high vehicle.

why not just cut the spings mate.. cheap option!

Apparently with the lowered Kings springs they act like they are on rails. Tene wants a 2 inch lift in hers, I am trying to get her to dump it 2 inches. :cool:

Yeah Kings springs dont do it for a ZJ...

I was talking to a guy from Suburban and he reckons u can only lower it 1" before getting into trouble.....true??

Yea if thats what Suburban told you its probably about right. They had a lowered XJ there last week. Maybe try an american jeep board. there must be somehwre with details.
