tightening a LSD

Post by patrol man »

does anyone have any tricks to tightening a GQ rear lsd diff as mine is not as good as it once was, ie spring spacers, extra clutch discs, heavy springs. has anyone done this , how did it go and where did you source parts. thanks in advance.

i had a go at tightening a LSD with modiate suscess i could not see any way of tighting it with out been dodgy cos it was for a dayly driver. but where are two thickness clutch plates. so u can fill the LSD with the thicker plates but the are not cheep (about $110 per plate).
what i ended up doing is sand blust the plates to remove the glazing it has helped but i don't know how long it will last
