Tyre Guards

Post by lowndsie »

Just wondering if anyone could recommend what materials to use as some flares for my Feroza? The MT/R's are through rocks and i'm ending up with ding's down the side. Was thinking of getting some kind of plastic guard and then pop riveting them on.

Garden edging from bunnings seemed to be the popular choice, however i think there was concerns rasied about the legality of extended guards, and they had to be able to delfect obstacles.

Aslong as you get the pededstrians with your pedestrian bar first you should be ok tho!
Cheers,
Dan.
