modding rocky i know not toyo but will be converting

Post by inka »

pls help :?
any ideas on what diffs would go in rocky
i'm thinking lux but unsure of year and strength.
offset diffs to suit rocky box and tfer
or easier to swap box and tfer as well??
rocky has toyo 3y motor standard if that helps....

Maybe you want to think about swapping in the transfer too. The whole driveline even. Going lux diffs you'll want 33's at least and your transfer gearing will be farked if you keep the rocky box. The lux has crawlers available ;)

Or buy a hilux

sounds reasonable to me :) would let you have lockers and gearing to your liking. A tough rocky :D

Someone here will know if the patterns match for sure ;)

meaning toyo motor is standard 3y comes with rocky so curios whether gearbox and transfer would be toyo as well???
if they are then can already start mods with gearing in transfer :D
