Left hand Blinkers on my 40 stoped working ?
As it saids the right work but not the left i can here the flasher cam doing its bit for left and right but none of the blinkers work on the left hand side where should i start are they wired with seperate power left and right?
If you can not get there in a 4wd its not worth looking at

i have tryed adding fluid on a regular basis normaly in deep muddy water holes ok ill try flasher cam but why would it work one side and not the other ?

i've got a similar thing on my zook... cept sometimes it works all good, and sometimes it barely lights up at all... is just right hand one. was all bad, then i cleaned one earth and now it's sometimes good.... gotta chase down all the earths when i get time. isn't the bulbs tho...

Most flasher cans don't have left or right circuits. They are on the input circuit to the indicator switch. So if the RH indicator works then the fault will not be the flasher can.

thanks guys that gives me a few things to look at the 80 will be out of the shed at the weekend and i can go back to useing it as my daily driver instead of the 40 i now have no blinkers at all as i had to pull the fuse because the wipers will not stop now looks like i need a new ( better second hand ) one there is always something to do on a 40

Just an update if your interested i asked an auto elec mate in the club on wed night where i should start looking as i turn the hazard lights on when i refit the blinkers on the gards as i take them off often he said turn the hazard lights on and off a few times then see. He was correct that fixed it alls good again no flasher cam etc and just for the record one globe blown dose not effect the whole side on a 40 thanks for the feed back have a good one poeple

Yes i am aparently it is a common prob they use the blinker circut i did it its fixed and that is it prob solved on to the next i dont care why just that they now work
