Post Bundera pictures please
I have tried to search for Bundera pictures but due to old posts being compressed the pictures are no longer there. Could owners or former owners please post any pictures of modified Bunderas and list what was done to them. I would just like to get an idea on what I can do to mine.

Well its pretty filthy, and hasnt got a great deal done to it but heres a pic any way:
It has 32" muddies, OME shockies, TJM front bar, Brown Davis Motorsport 4 point Roll Bar, Modified fibreglass canopie, Duel battery system by Piranah and a nice Kenwood sound system and a few other little bits and pieces.
Oh yeah, the previous owner sprayed it black with a blue pearl (god knows why) and had the flares put on.
Im about to start working again (been away for 5 months) so hopefully spotties, winch, snorkel, fridge and UHF will all be going on in the next 6 months or so.
This pic is when I first bought the car, out at Bunyip State Park:

Thanks for the photos guys. Was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere to get flares at a good price around the Sydney area ( I live out Penrith way ). I have 31/10.5/15s at the moment and want to go 33 or 35/12.5/15, what offset for the rim will I need as I want it to be as wide as possible.
bundyboy wrote:you dont necessarily need flares to go to that size... they may stick out a bit. If you are using it offroad, my advice would be get some well offset rims or even spacers to get your track wider. That way its nice and stable on slopes.
Hey I agree with Joel, I run a 13.5in tyre on an 8in rim and the back fits flush with the guards and the front is only just outside, havent had a second look from anyone (went thru rego that way)
I have some of the Bushranger flares to go on shortly though as I want to run spacers and also may get some more offset rims. (Need width!)
Cheers

While we are on the topic of wheel spacers, I am considering the idea for my car. I reckon the car would feel a hell of a lot different to drive (both on road and off) with a bit of extra wheel width.
How do wheel spacers work, as in where do they bolt on? Are they easily removed? Do they compromise strength or legality?

Oh highly illegal! But all good things are today! Normally they bolt onto the wheel studs like your rims do, and then they have new studs that you then bolt the rims onto! Have a look at someone like snakeracings website for them and you will get a better understanding of them from the pics. Very simple really. Dont know who is the cheapest or anything, I just know that they have a picture on their site.
Cheers
the other issue is strength... to an extent, the further the distance between the cv joints and the centre of the rim... the more stress you are putting on the system.... As for how much i have no idea.
I think dumdunce ran spacers on his bundy so he may be able to give personal you an idea for personal experience.

I knew they probably were not legal, doesnt worry me too much. More worried about sacrificing strength and saftey. Ill check out snake racing now.
You could get the centres of a set of sunrasia's cut/flipped for more offset.
I had this done bt new way wheels for $40 per rim

Bundy Flares
If your after the black fibreglass flares talk to TJM 4x4 megastore at blacktown, they got a set for me about 4 months ago, the back are the same as the 75 series troopy, but you need the ones with the cutout for the rear fuel tank, & they should still be able to get the front ones for the bundy. They brought mine down from Qld, only took a week. I can probably find the part numbers if you need them
