Zuki/MQ Hybrid? Change of camp

Post by Patroldude »

Ok - I got me a whoooooole heapa MQ MK Parts including a SPOA Conversion set up.... I am a little over parts prices for patrols too and was wondering if you can put patrol springs and diffs in a zuki???

Does the additional weight cut back performance a lot - 1.3 is pretty small motor (could be worse and be an SD33 diesel but)

what is required? Is it road legal with custom flares? Am I dreamin or better off sellin it all for $700 bucks?

I know the cross over hi steer is defunct if I do it so what is solution for Zuki?

Cheers

Anythings possible , theres a zook going around with MQ diffs , spring under and 1.6efi . Would be a tough machine, no doubt others will be able to fill you in on the rest.

Yes, you are correct, also Sierrajim/vitarajim is building a similar project...engineering cert is not likely, but not impossible, best to get in writing what an engineer will let you do.

Critta (the buggy) is now dubbed the trailer princess.

The snow cammo ute is his better half's car.

From memory, Matt @ M&M has them under his 'non rego'd zook.
