two door rangie seats

Post by swamp »

the seats on my 2dr are knackered and I am looking at what options are out there.
I saw a local motor trimmer who can replace all the foam and recover with a high bolster sports type setup for $500.
I have also seen unknown second hand seats transplanted in but I am unsure of how they fix to the seat base and also how they run the seat belt fixings.any info apreciated

regards

at $500 to redo the seats, I would take that option
saves all the stuffing around trying to fit other seats and belts.. one of my 2 doors has had the seats restuffed and upholstered and they are great...

Michael,
Getting alternative seats is quite involved.
Repositioning the seatbelts requires getting it engineered.

I have seen a few dodgy versions, including a bolt going through the whole B pillar.
A seat belt is a life saving device, and shouldn't be treated with contempt.
