how high can you..

thinking of going 3 inch lift in the rear off my 4runner, how high can i wind up the torsion bars? will i be able to wind them up enough to make it sit level? i will have a 1 inch balljoint spacer in the help cv shaft angles. whats the limit befor needing to replace shockies for longer travel ones?

you can wind your torsion bars till they hit your bump stops you can cut your bump stops so you can wind it higher but by doing this you'll loose wheel travel i hope this helps you a bit

You can probably do it, but you may as well replace your front suspension with blocks of wood, as it's not going to move.

2" is about the max workable suspension lift you will get out of the torsion bars
then wack a 2" body lift in it

Was talking to ARB guy at 4WD show.. he said the say 2" lift on nitrochargers, but they are ok up to 4". Just saw a surf today with 4" Calbah IFS lift (dropped crossmembers) with rancho's, dont know if they are L series ones tho.

yeah i'm going to make a balljoint spacer as soon as i get a template of the balljoint, otherwise i could just pull it off and make my own template but that will have to wait till after my exams, thanks guys
