TB42 engine noise

Post by Paps »

I have an 89 TB42 Maverick. When it is facing downhill there is a sound that comes from the right side of the engine that I can only describe as a intermitant light metal or lapping sound. I think it has something to do with the oil pump pick up as it is only when the car is facing downhill, not level or up hill. Anyone know what this is?

you can really hear it under the right guard coming from the right side of the engine. It really does sound as if fluid is involved that's why I'm thinking oil pump?
