OK, after all teh replies I got (zilch) I bought it, its a 84 model with bull bar, 15 inch sunraysias, motor is a Astron 2600 sigma engine, runs well, oil on engine, just needs cleaning, needs a real good clean, open the back door and it has heaps of rust in it

Will post pictures when I can, I seem to think that if I stripped it down I would make more than the 300 I paid for it.

I were looking at it and had been discussing it with the guy, I hopped on the phone and were talking to my brother about it, he basicly said to buy it, Another guy had come up and was also looking, I turned to the guy selling and said, here is $100, I will be back shortly with the rest.

The other guy said, looks like I got here to late.. 8)

Already had someone else knocking on my door looking to buy it.

Ok ok ok ok I will comment
Sounds ok, it will go better with the 2.6 (as compared to the 2.0), yeah you may make a few $ on it :?:
I think their pretty much Pajero running gear (diffs, t/case, gearbox etc), just don't do any water crossings in it as the dizzy in those is most vulnerable.

Drove it the other night, gears seem real sloppy, clutch also needs to be adjusted, motor will not idle but appears to run OK, won't start unless you poor fuel down the carby, thinking, maybe the electric pump is cactus as it continues to click as in trying to pump the fuel.

need to get price on rust repaired before I decide if it is worth it or not.

Funny thing is, I used to see an old friend picking his kids up in a L300 the same colour and all, going through the glove box to clean it out, discovered that it was his actual car.
