Bonnet hinge bolts?

Post by bogged »

The ones that hold the bonnet to the hinge...

anyone know what thread, size and length they are?
I made some spacers to lift the bonnet a 10mm..

Also wondering how this will affect the rest of the 'air pocket' in the engine bay..

bogged i lifted my bonnet about that much just using washers as spacers. the factory bolts will reach with plenty to spare.. done this a couple months ago and i guess it works a bit.. u can see the heat waves (u know the distorted air wave thingys) coming out from there..

still waiting for new bonnet to be painted with gu scoop..

hinges

I thought that from someone with so many posts that that was rather a strange question???? Surely its been covered before - I mean its such an easy way to reduce underbonnet temp???

If you want more air in there I got a hornet scoop (low profile) I wanna get rid of for $20 plus postage if interested???? Never been used - excess stock from GS Motor bodies before they shut down....
