You seem to of discounted the 14 bolt.
A mate has two for sale for $500 at the moment. Not sure if he has them still.
They can be found fairly easily and if you are lucky you can find one that is 63" width, 4.10 or 4.56 gears and a detroit all as standard.
features as follows:
10.5" ring gear
1.75", 30 spline pinion
1.5", 30 spline full floating axles
Comes in 63" and 67" widths
full detroit fits in stock housing like a lunchbox locker
ARB has just been developed for it and shown at sema
Can be shaved heaps for more clearance
I would seriously be looking for a 14 bolt if I was you.
They are massively strong and relatively cheap

Interesting, but how common are they in Oz? What vehicles did these come in?
What about the trusty old ford 9inch you can get every ratio full floater kits 31spline axles and also buy just the center section and weld your axle tubes and mounts on also just get a full spool check out the rocket web site www.rocketind.com strange engineering have some sexy gear.
