Trail / Dirt Bike Section

Post by dieseldude »

Just wondering if anyone could use another heading in here which deals with dirt bikes?

THere's not too many decent forums for this and I see that a number of us are into (and own / ride) dirt bikes.

Just a thought

This is a four wheel drive forum.

What else needs to be said.

A lot of us own fridges and four wheel drives, we don't have a fridge forum.

True.

Although the admin think otherwise...

Seriously, there used to be an MTB forum here, as quite a few people from here ride on the same trails as we wheel on. That forum got canned by the admin as soon as interest waned.

The argument that yes a lot of guys do ride (moto) and wheel, is good, but I had the same argument for the MTB forum, alas the MTB forum is no more.

You know I still ride/race mountain bikes, but I do agree the MTB section was very slow and I lost interest in it. The RC section has quite a good following and was seeing a lot more traffic than the mountain bikes. There are plenty of mountain bike forums around that cater for most of the community.

I like the idea of keeping this as a 4x4 forum. If anything the For Sale section needs to be divided up!

As for the comment (not from you Area54) about tube buggies not being fourwheel drives the same as motorbikes are not, is clearly rediculous.
