a frame and spring

Post by benjamin78au »

where is the best place to look for information on converting a rear leaf to a spring for a 91 wt sierra, chasing ideas on the rear setup a frame and all that, is there a bolt on kit?

Hope to do a rear spring conversion , but any ideas on the front leafs for more articulation and still comply with qld laws

a frame

Post by benjamin78au »

i call it an A - frame cause from under the car it looks kinda like one, the a frame connects to the top of another welded or bolted bit on the diff housing, so it can articulate a lot better. ( i don't know all the technical terms it just what i seen and how i describe it) ) the diff is held in place with trailing arms, looking for a kit or ideas of some sort. with out knowing all the terms, well makes searching a little hard.

Why not just spend 1/8 of the price on some soft lifted leaves and pocket the rest for an ARB/Rockhopper???
