so yeah, broke my first CV today. dont know whether to be sad or happy.
so i guess i'm looking for a front left hand side driveshaft. anyone got one they might want to sell to me? or a couple (left and right?)
the camera man did a bad job, didn't get the actual breakage on camera. nor did he get pics, but he did manage to get a bit of footage of where it happened, but not when it happened. anyone want to host the clip? dont know how big it is.
and the sound of the CV giving way, its something you cant really forget, although the swearing, cursing and cussing after kinda takes ur mind off it.
and after breaking the CV, and having no 4 wheel drive, well, actually it was now a one wheel drive, i attempted to get to the top of another hill, but then got stuck of some biggish rocks. nearly rolled, but it was hell funny. got some pics of that too.

Hah hah ha, get used to it
Just remember, when they break it only means they were old and needed replacing anyway. It has nothing to do with 5000 RPM and 31's
Ring the Suzi parts blokes on the East Coast, they should be able to send you up a couple at once to save postage. My last two cost 55 bucks each and were in very good nick.
Once I get my computer sorted out I'll scan some maps for you of where we used to go down around Litchfield way a few years ago.
