Their really getting into it now so I reckon 2-3 weeks.
An interesting thing for Jabber dudes is that Cheezy discovered that GQ coils go straight into the standard rear spring perches. The spring is just heavier 17mm Vs 18mm but the GQ coil spacers will work plus give more choice for off the shelf rear coils.

Not long now just waiting for rear shocks and the 5.29 centre and the rear is done. The front just needs the brakes etc, steering and front shaft to be done. Not long now...........................
Cheezy had just finished a 4 Runner today (5 link front) and they put it on the ramp the front flexed awesomely. The standard rear ran out of travel way before the front.

Hey Frank it's Andrew (My Surf was playing with the Pajero at CHEEZY's)
and I've just got back (earlier on in the week) from giving it a bit of testing at EDEN over the long weekend.
Holly crap can CHEEZY make an awsome pakage, it flexes way more than my misses did when I was courting her and fanging on the road is way more civilesed than I expected she handles GROUSE , plus after seeing how your A-frame setup is I'm going to get CHEEZY to do this to the Surf in Feb as well the red powder coating.
Make sure you get in touch when you do the debut drive coz I'm hanging out to see how that puppy flexes

G'day Andrew, yeah I gotta say your Surf looked awesome dude, really did. The thing I like about Cheezy's conversions is that they look like a factory install. You see a lot of SAS conversions that have a lot of tube or custom stuff that obviously looks non-standard. Yours looks absolutely stock, just lifted. I'm glad to hear about the handling to, other guys have reported the same thing (very good on road).
I'll certainly let you know when we go on the first trip out

Yes Ruff it will run a Panhard in the front.
We are just waiting on the IFS hub spacers and the pitman arm re-spline so the steering and 5th link can be set up.
Then it's just the exhaust to be done and it's finished just a few little brackets to be made up for the handbrake cable, power steering line etc.
It's not a simple conversion by any means as the chassis rails are different to a Toyo and of course the housing has to be reversed. The Toyo high steer arms hit the chassis big time on compression so flat ones had to be made up. The rear is very easy as they are very much like a Nissan in layout the front is the fiddly part.
I was there yesterday and he finished my sliders which look great (they will be air tanks as well).
The good thing is that this conversion will be sussed out completely and will be much more straightfoward for the next one (there is interest).

Almost done now just waiting on a few parts too finish, we all want to see it on the tracks. As for the hi-steer we do all the flat ones in house (we have done quite a few now)

Yes they are to fit even flat ones turned out to be a major pain due to the chassis/pitman arm position.
One interesting thing though was we found to run the large Lux 302mm vented rotors with the V6 4 Runner calipers (twin 45mm pistons) the hub spacers are required for the calipers to line up with the rotors.

I edited the previous post on the IFS hub spacers.
Basically the larger V6 4 Runner calipers bolt straight on to the live axle Hilux brake mounts with no mods at all this is a good braking upgrade.
If you want 3" wider front track in your live axle Hilux then you run the IFS Toyo hubs which space the wheel studs out 1.5" each side but then you need the ORI hub spacers (or rotor spacers) to space the rotors back in so they line up with the calipers again.
My front track without the IFS hubs & ORI spacers would have been way too short now it looks factory standard width compared with the rear.

Pretty much, just the new tank to go in.
Believe it or not it's only about 1.5" higher than before (measured).
It's surprising though at full compression it needs all the wheel arch room it can get the front clears fine the back just (ever so slightly) touches the plastic where the mudflap is normally mounted but not enough to worry about. To fit 35" Simex's (next size up for me) some serious guard chopping will be required

I'm speechless, I bet your excited. Its good to finally see a Pajero up that high. Are you going to go with a wider rim to compensate for all that height? Whenever you get a chance, be sure to take plenty of pics underneath first and then a quick little write up after. Great work
