308 VP ss motor fuel usage

Hey quick Q, i have just put a EFI 308 out of a VP ss into my GQ and my fuel guage aint working, what sorta kms do these motors get out of say 100ish letres of fuel....

when i had my VP SS i was geting 400 to 450kms. That was a 65ltr tank, plus i had a stage 3 cam and componet kit installed aswell. So i guess with a 100ltr tank in a 4b i wouldnt push it more then 500 to be on the safe side to you get your gauge fixed.
Its not cool, unless it's got boost :)

:D well i put bout 120$$ into it today bout 109 lts and it wasnt full yet but that sounds good km wise :D damn they sound nice hey
just have to go back monday to get the radiator fixed under warranty cos it a bit leaky :armsup:

how much lead is in your foot. :lol: and yeah
injected 304's sound way cooler than GEN III's.

Try duel 3inch exhaust, thats what i ran i my SS. F*%#en sound's sweet.

dont know if has to do with oversize tyres and being 4wd but i get around 350km's is something wrong with mine

Get a VDO fuel gauge.. $70ish I would guess... mount it in a dashpod with a proper VDO temp gauge

would be good to know what everyone else gets my tank is about 75 litres i think well around that and i get around 300km's i run 35inch tyres with standard diff ratio's is this to much fuel?

I get 300km city to 400km hwy on 70L gas (I overtake on petrol though!!!)

yeh im getting about 350kms out of $30 of LPG in mine,
when it was on petty i was only getting about 300kms to 65litres :shock:
but it was carbi on injected, though well tuned u will get a little better
