my new 4runner

Post by valkor »

hi all, just bought my new toy and should be picking it up next week.
I got a '91 petrol 3.0L auto 4runner.
had it for three days to play with and it seems pretty sweet so far.
car yard is having the rear window fix because it won't wind up and down.
no log books or owners manuals though  and I haven't seen a stock one so I'm not sure if it's got any mods yet.
things I will be getting are a snorkel, bull bar and driving lights. anyone have any other recommendations ??
main use will be veryday driving in the NT and weekends camping and a bit of bush bashing, no rock crawling or anything really hardcore until the kids are a bit older.
anyone have a manual or workshop manual for this model they might be willing to part with or copy for me ?

thanks guys and gals

If your not planning on anything to serious perhaps a decent bullbar and winch would be a worth insurance policy

:) seeing as this is my first 4wd I'll be using it to practice in so it'll get messy when the missus isn't with me. when the familys in the car I'll behave and it' will mainly be the weekend camping and touring.
