Heuston we have a problem

Post by rocknferoza »

Coming home tonight the CHECK ENGINE light came on pushing the feroza upto 110 but went off after backing off. It happened twice but wouldn't do it after that.
Any ideas :?: Could it be anything 2 do with the new exhaust system :?:

Thanx
James

mine used to do the same but was on gas. it was coz it was running rich or lean at the oxy sensor only on gas but

oxy sensor might be dodgy. check ya fault codes

Why don't you check what fault code is logged instead of trying to guess?!

Most likely be the oxy sensor- probably past the use by date like mine was. Mine only showed up after doing the exhaust too, because it was rusty and open circuit beforehand.

Around $80- do a search or look in the FAQ. I recently posted a spiel on them with part numbers for NGK oxy sensors that fit.

Have you guys downloaded the F300 Service Manual? It's got all sorts of good stuff like that in it. ;)

(Click on my hompage link if you haven't got it.)

I have done a "How To" on here, but the pics won't be visible :bad-words: so it will be pretty useless.
