I have a problem with crunch on down shift (from 4 to 3rd.. or 4th to 2nd)..

I didn't have the problem before I had my clutch replaced and gear box oil replaced.

I am just wondering if I will put a different gear oil in it this time instead of what the 4wd centre put in. They said they used XGO 75/90 on the invoice.

Yeah the VMX 80 is worth a try. I had a honda civic which would crunch at any speed over 5 km going back to second, put the vmx in, and you could gear back at 60 no worries. Its worth a try.

I have actually heard of it before..

It apparently makes the shifts realy nice, smooth and light..

Thanks for the tip. I think I will try it soon.

I realy only notice this problem when I am down shifting around 60km/h and over.
