Trying to decide on which arms to run. Leaning towards 3rd's but not to sure. I like the idea of clevis joints but in the photos on bigballs site, the arms look like they flex at bush(chassis end) as well as the clevis joint, how stable would they be on the black top at highway speeds?????. Where as the superflex arms can only move in one spot, and would be as stable as standard arms I guess.
Anyone with info???

Mate,
The twins would logically be better cause they reduce chances of binding when articulating. On the road they'd only really move up and down. The job of keeping it all the suspension in place 'round corners is the job of the panhard rod and its bushes, not the radius arms....

i have seen pics of how badly the thirds arms hit the chassis when flexing. they bite into it. nothing a grinder and some split tube wouldn't fix. all depends if you mind defacing your chassis.

Bigpat, it's the up and down movement that concerns me, with the arms moving at the chassis it will change the castor angles. At the end of the day the car gets used as a daily driver, come tourer, come play toy. It gets wobbles slightly but occasionally as if its on the limit already.
As for the clearence, well it wouldn't be the first time I've made room with an angle grinder, besides last resort is drop brackets which requires grinder work as well.

Tailspin, let me clarify my point...
With spherical type joint at the chassis end, this allows 'twist' when articulating. When I said up and down movement I meant to say that they will only pivot arond the pin. There wouldn't be adverse problems (except for the chassis contact it seems!).
Give some independant 4WD fab shops a call, get all their opinions (they fit them often after all) and make an educated decision from that.
