Hiclone????

Post by mooreyfiveo »

I am considering purchasing 2 x Hiclone units for my '86 Toyota Bundera 2.4 Petrol. Has anyone got any news, good or bad on these units? I do not do a lot off road, only to get to spots to go mountain bike riding. I am looking for a bit of fuel economy and a little bit better power on highways for cruising speeds.

Thank you for any input you can provide.

yeah i looked into them but that is as far as i got
the bloke who sells them says 2'd work better (of course he would)
i figured they'd add the breathing benefit of say a snorkel or extractors
BUT in my 3B tractor like diesel i thought whats the point three hundred bucks'll buy me plenty of stuff which would be much more useful...
it may help a bit just my $0.02
find out about a non kit supercharger unit and get creative with a bracket, belt and some ducting you may be surprised at how cheap it can be done, i looked into that too;)

You get 1% boost to every Hilclone.

NAM runs 8 of them, he gets crazy air vortex boost.

I run 3 in my exhaust and it helps get the exhaust gases out quicker than any mandrel bent exhaust system ever could...
