:bad-words: :bad-words: :bad-words: :bad-words:

my Dad is coming up to visit from Sydney this weekend, there's no room in my truck for him and it's stuffed for the moment anyway. His brand new ifs hilux (although locked at the front) is not the sort of vehicle i want to drag around the course. I'm still keen to be involved somehow. Can someone PM me somewhere to watch or do you guys need anyone else at checkpoints? Keen to be there somehow.

Let me know.

Im still thinking very hard about going.. as ive only done an honest 400 kms on the new engine.. (still runnin it in) and would like to get another 700 done before the weekend so i can then do an oil change and be ready to give the new engine a hard time.

Jack up the radiator cap and wheel a real 4wd under it. And for God's sake, get spell check. :finger: :finger:

Andy, I'll be at the start line to give you a hand wherever you need it, and help sell raffle tickets. But, I won't be able to go on the run, as it looks like I might be working Sunday. Plus, steering box being lined up for a rebuild in the ute, so it's not going.
What time do you want me at the start line mate?
Simon.

Mate, sorry for the spelling I had a few drinks what can I say, and why would I want to swap the flash NP? for what a Rangie come on be real who in Gods name would want to go backwards as for the poor old GU it wouldn't have enough power to pull the snot off a cow and why are we still blessed with the Tojo?? I'll tell you because the Japs are still pinged off over the war remember the big one in 45, so at the end of the day the Paj wins hands down

if like other runs, it is probable you should only need recovery at a checkpoint where there is likely to be help around.
you could always call out on the uhf...

It is self recovery but as stated it is probably only going to be at a check point that the little plebs like antt will need recovery and Mark Pearson from ARB southside and a few others are going to be there purely to help with recoveries should any vitaras or the likes need recovering.

OK you monkeys I thought I would add a bit to the recovery debate before you scare everyone off. This is not 4x4 Survivor and we won't leave you stranded however the onis will be on you to get your vehicle around the course and if you get stuck we would appreciate a little cooperation among yourselves and would like you to recover each other.

If you get hopelessly in trouble put the call out and in the interests of safety we will do our best to help you.

What is the new ute choppa? Make sure you come say g'day. I was talking to you a year or so ago at Kalbar Autofest in your old wagon. My ute was the black and grey wagon at the time
