these tyres r meant to b a sub company of yokohama.....according to a local tyre rep
its all yoko tech an they set up a cheaper company in korea or somethin

mate has the muds on a generally road 4b
an i put some on the olds 4b also.....but road pattern

seem like a reasonable tyre , specially for the price

get some silverstones like mine
MT117 - SPORTS

Rounghly $240 each & measure 285/75/16
So you would need 16 x 8 rims which are costly http://www.silverstone.com.my/ty-4x4/images/mt117sp.jpg

Claws and X-Terrains (and Boggers) aren't good for lateral grip because there's nothing stopping the tyre moving sideways across the road - just big wide grooves running unbroken across the tyre, or along the direction the tyre is sliding. At least the Silverstones have that central rib to break the groove, which should create SOME lateral grip.

they are good, although mine being a shortie i get allot of sideways action

They bite in well much better than a standard mud pattern, the only real let down of the tyre is they are 16 inch

Silverstones are great on side slopes as mentioned above.

Nankangs are a good affordable tyre. We have tested numerous sets on 4wd TV and have been impressed with how well they clean and pull in goo.

We are putting a set of the 315s on the wifes other car tomorrow...so we are not running the Silverstone Xtremes the whole time.
