tuning the 1.6 multi point efi

Post by benjamin78au »

hey just wondering what are the best ways or hints on tuning a 1.6 L efi motor, besides shelling out heaps and getting a pro in (might have to but )
The motor runs okay slight sluggish around 2 to 3 grand but after that hang on.

running vortex fuel, but at $1.06 i was hoping to get more then 300ks to a 40 L tank.

ideas thanks

suzuki motors tend to have good top ends, maybe you should shave some of the head to raise the compression, a new exhaust and extractors, stiffer valve springs, a mild port, maybe a cam if you can find one, or get the originals reground. A chip if you can afford one. use more fuel but
