GQ exhaust system

Post by shortgq »

have tried searching, but to no avail....

so i need to replace the entire exhaust system on my tb42 swb.....

it currently has genie extractors through a what looks like 2 and a bit system with muffler.....its totally shagged holes everywhere, and it sounds like crap.... my 2.8 mq has a better note...

what have people put on theirs??? naturally i want extractors and system... what size would u guys go for.... i will get a muffler as i don't want to be sent deaf cruising up the highway....

so whats ya thoughts???

2/5 inch. right size for eveything i reckon. iv'e had 2/5inch for everything from my old 308 powered ute to shorty petrol like your to my LWB diesel. 2/5 is the best size! Go pressed pipe with a straight through muffler. If you still run your rear bumber cut a hole in one and bring your exhaust through the bumper. very cool i reckon. if you have chopped guards just drop above diff or something.. sidepipe maybe.......

I agree 2 1/2 inch for sure, and a K&N Filter.
