watching the 'midnight madness' as people indulge in a unplanned/uncoordinated mudpit moment......
Big FJ40's with roaring V8's, Cruisers, Rollylux's, and patrol's trying their dandy'est to impress 'the crowd' with their mudslinging pro-ess.
As you can imagine, from time to time, people got in a little bit deeper than they're 'trucks' could cope with........generally ending up with a bogged couple of 'glory hunters'.....
Just as the crowd begins to 'heckle' the driver of the stuck 'truck', out of the crowd of vehicles and people would zip a relatively stock little zook.
With the revs ringing in your ear, and sight of this little chariot bouncing over the ruts, it proceeded to do donuts, slinging mud around the 'bogged' and embarressed 'truck', kinda like a little toy dog prancing at full noise around a big rotweiler.
Having embarressed the 'truck' driver, the zook would dissappear back into the crowd, with a cheer from the onlookers as the 'recovery' crew came to remove the sulking truck.
Over the period of the night, this happened quite a few times, with the Zook, useing it's nimble & zippy stature, to humiliate and ridicule the concept of 'BIG is BEST' theory.......
This was my introduction to Zook's at their finest.
droopypete wrote:that is all well and good Drewfus, but you could have made a new topic to tell us that, thus reducing the Nissan guys lead in the topic stakes Peter.
I'll tell you what........I'll dig up some 'fresh' Zook related topics and Start some ON-TOPIC posts in light of the obvious need to dominate.....please accept my appoligies....
