Body-Chassis Rubber on a GQ

Post by Slug »

Hi all,
Mine are apparently shot to buggery (Makes a groaning/clunking noise)underfoot under load. I am not really that keen on a lift kit simply because I dont do enough in the truck to justify it however, question is ...
Can I buy standard replacements from Nissan and fit them myself or go with a quote of $400 (plus fitting if its a huge job) for a 2" lift ?

Are any of the lift blocks better than the other ?

Cheers
Daniel

Edit ..... Found this using the search function  (go figure) http://www.gqpatrol.com/bodylift/bodylift.txt answers most of my questions anyway. Unless there is anything else i need to know ?

Naah.. just follow KISS - Keep it simple stupid.

Everythings simple if you dont think too hard. (always a way around it ;) )

Have some piss along with it, it helps your memory ;)
