Like all luggy and aggressive tyres, they do have the potential to become noisy.
If you rotate them regularly (I reckon every 5000kms) you keep any uneven, noise producing wear patterns out of the tyre.
Follow this up with regular wheel alignments and they will stay as quiet as the day that they went on.
Due to their two stage shoulder lug there is a good chance at a certain speed you may feel the lugs as they rotate (Usually as you slow down), but this all depends on the vehicle, the tyre size, the pressures and the load being carried. I've driven a TJ Jeep with 33x12.50R15 Radial Claws and it drives better with these on it than an AT. Don't confuse the bias with the radial construction. Bias Claws due to their construction and with their much larger Sidebiter lugs are going to be noisier.

Even the bias claw was not all that noisy ( well not under a zook anyway)

Bias is definitely noisy as hell, also wears really quick on the roads. I've got a set of 35x13.5x15 Bias Baja Claws as my offroad set, they are rated at 10% road and 90% offroad
Also running Bias full time on your vehicle doesn't do wonders for your fuel ecomony
This is why i've reverted back to my old BFG muddies as road tyres

Ive had a set of 35x12.5R15 radials on my shorty for about the last 12 months. They are showing a little wear, a few largish chunks taken out of them, probably due to the fact that i dont reduce pressures and i tend punish them a bit.
On bitumen i am very happy with them. great in the wet/dry all conditions. Can be a little noiseyn but you get used to it and just turns into background noise after a while. Tend to make a grinding sort of sound when under braking, have had people in the car ask me if thats my brakes grinding but i tell them its my tyres.
On hard packed dirt roads the can be bit skittish tending to skip/skate sideway on dirt corners, although this could probably be stopped if the pressures were reduced.
I paid $300 fitted for mine, which was the cheapest i found.
Old mate confused between bias and radial. have a look at all the mickey thompson advertisements. they always show the radial for some reason. have a look straight vertically down the tyre. you will see the tread on the left and right side obviously. you will see a little groove running down the centre of the tyre. if the groove is dead straight it is bias. if it is offset and on different sides on each tread block it is radial. same pattern pretty much. just bias is more meaty on top and down sidewalls. I got 35#12.5#15 radials. Kj offroad centre and lewis tyre service in geelong sell em both for $285 bucks. Not fitted though i dont think. Radials awesome everywhere, but my mate still beats me in soft stuff with his jungle trekkers. but also when i get home i sit back and watch him change his tyres back to at's while i sip on a rum can.
For old mate confused. picture above are of radials. ave a look the line is offcentre. Radials loudest tyres? you havn't been for a run in a 4wd with simexes yet?....
bias = very noisy and hate road work
radial = moderate noise as expected with a muddy but better than you would expect and wear reasnobly well on road.
if you want a decent tyre for offroad and on and dont do a huge amt of k's claw radial, if you want to run a nimbus tyre get an alterrain - if you want ahappy medium but closer to claw's buy my mtrss

so bought mtrs which work well any time except when extremely wet as found out at mud bulls!!!!!!
