Shockers

Post by *BESTY* »

Absolutely Shocking

Went away for a week up the river (The Murray), corrugations + + +
Ended up snapping the fabricated x-member holding the rear shocks on :?

Drove back home......scarey ride, all over the road....especially on cornering.

Got it back from the shop today.........excellent job !

Moose utilised the existing Feroza rear top shock mounts and fabbed a bottom pin of the plate for the leafs.
Using 60series Front OME shocks all round.

Feels much better than when they were first done :!: Albeit a slightly stiffer ride on road.

I also got the guys to redo the front shock mounts as the plate at the top where the pin was goin' through was starting to bend.......thin plate ?3mm
Fixed it with ?5mm plate and using the same shocks as in the rear.

Makes it easy if I stuff a shock.....just need to carry a spare 60 series front shock !

Still not sure 'bout the front..........might look into hoops +/- coil-overs.
