not auto but electrical question

Post by N*A*M »

i'm looking for an electronic ballast to run four T8 fluoro tubes around 40W. tried the local electrical wholesalers (l&h and middy's) with no luck. i know there are a few sparkies and some DIY types on this board, so my question is... do you know where i might find such a thing?

Try Turks or alternately just buy a complete fluoro and rip the guts out of it or even keep your eyes open and u can find some old ones lieing arround.

Turks can prolly order it in.

Why not just run 4 tridonic.atco EC 36/40 Ballasts. That is what is in every new fluro you buy. Normally there is 1 ballast for each tube.

Middys
L+H
and Leckys will all have them in stock.

What do you want this light for?

If you are just wanting realy good light from a fluro get a triphosferos (spelling?) best tube for a fluro.
