Running on Gas
Hi guys I have a FJ45 (84mod) and was thinking of converting it to gas (dual fuel) is it realy worth the cost and if so what sort of a bennifit am I going to get. Mossy
the way i understand is that different companies make conversion kits. i have the sprintgas new generation mixer, another one that works differently is IMPCO. ring around a few of your local gas conversion specialists to see what they offer. my set up came in at just over $2000, thats to drop the vehicle off and have it all done for you in a couple of days, pits passed and all. then in wa theres a $500 govt rebate so cost me roughly $1500. ask about snorkels if you intend fitting one and where your exhaust is goin to to. think this was covered in another post somewhere here too.....
