Got any links to the reports of breakages? I have only seen a report of a 27 spline chromo breaking a Polly Performance inner axle.

But this is why i havent ordered a set yet. I wanted to see some real world testing first.

Did you have any trouble fitting them?
Some people on pirate seem to be having troubles getting the bigger axles to slide into the housing.

I stipped down the axle and fitted new king pin bearings, seals etc so I slotted the Longs in first without any probs.

Took the Toy out for an overnighter up one of our steepest rocky rivers ( climbs to 900m above sea level ) and gave the Longs a good test. In reverse I towed a 60 series over some large rocks, loading the front up fairly well. no problems

The best thing about the new Longs is the confidence you gain in the front axle. I enjoyed putting the truck in difficult terrain not having " this looks like a CV buster" going thru my mind all day !
