with snake extended shock hoops can u cut out the inside of the wheel arches to fit em if ya dont have a body lift. they say u need a body lift to fit em but there doesnt look like anythin in tha engine bay ova that area that cant be moved too hard

I've been told you can, a bloke was tellin me that he made a new bracket inside the arch and didn't use shock hoops, athough I can't see the guards being very strong for supporting a shock.

na want to cut the guards so the shock hoops can sit in engine bay. only way to fit tha snake hoops without bodylift

how much strength u reckon will be lost, i mean tha hole would only be25cm squared for tha hoops to go through. is it even leegal coz its shite to try and get stuff passed here any way

mate made me bar work for me and would be a mongrel to lift with body wouldnt wonna lose this bar work too expensive to buy new stuff whats tha min body lift reqd to fit tha hoops coz i spose i could go an inch without lookin like im floatin

what sorta barwork u got.......

just get him to make some brackets and weld them onto ur barwork to be level with bodylift. wont have to get all new stuff surely.

I got 2" bodylift with hoops and the top of the hoop is about 1cm from the guard. if it was only 1" you would still have to cut inner guards out

Getting shock hoops legal at all in WA is a challenge!
Spoke to Russel at OL Balcatta and he said when they showed some shock hoops to their engineer he pretty much laughed at them :roll: .

I would say that cutting the inner guards would def be a no no. Not unless you could strengthen them somehow I dunno.
