i'm after ideas on the best spot to mount mine.

where ever it fits best. mines an 80 but i
just whacked it in a clear spot that was
reasonably flat.

i didn't realise the angle made a difference?
i was thinking more, engine bay, behind cargo barrier, tucked in quarter panel???

mines in the engine bay. flat spot for ease of mounting,
the angle doesn't make any difference.

mine in the engine bay. since you aussies cant figure out how to allow us to post pics on this board, ill have to explain. if youre looking at your motor, i mounted mine on the left, on the wheel well. it mounts perfect, and if you aim the air release valves towards your motor, you wont have any hood-clearance issues.
'87 efjaysixty, ARB's frt/rear, o.g. 2F, etc...

ps if you mount it somewhere not to accesible, you wont ever be able to plumb it for air up/down. i know some peeps say not to use your compressor to air up/down but F it, ill buy another one if it goes bad!

thanks guys,
hullendersauce, i think my steering colomn comes through the fire wall where you mounted yours.
i think ill mount it just behind the cargo barrier, there's a nice little spot next to my drawers to mount it and stow the air line.

He's a left hand drive, you would put yours on the opposite side.

Mine's under the drivers seat. I can reach down to the switch to turn it on and off while driving, and the outlet is there inside the cab so it keeps all the dirt and dust out. I have the air switches mounted there as well, and the air lines to the lockers go through the plastic bung in the floor under the seat and straight onto the chassis rails.

what about water crossings quick60?
I've only got a 2" lift and flooded that area a couple of times.
