I have an 84 model 2.4diesel lux with a 125 litre custom long range tank.
However i have found when there is only about 20-30 litres left int he tank and i am on a downward slope the fuel leans out and it stalls this also happens when i am on a lean to the left. As the pick up is at the bottom right of the tank.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Does anyone think that fitting a 1-2 litre surge tank will help fix this problem?
any help would be appreciated.

Fuel tank problems
84lux-project. A-frame, 350 chev, turbo 350 auto, duals, rears up front, crossover, twin locked and a 118" wheelbase
That is tru but if i fit a 1-2 litre surge tank i can have one pump goiing fromt he fuel tank to the surge tank that will circulte the diesel back otu threw the top and down to the fuel tank again when full. Thius should keep me running off the surge tank long enough for me to get back down and have the fuel being pumped back into the surge tank again. I only have this problem when there is abotu 20 litres left in the tank so its not really that big of a drama i am just looking for an easy solution
