khumo mud tyres

Post by robbie »

hey all

I can get a cheap set of khumo mud tyres (which I need for roadworthy).

Are they any good?

What do the 31" khumo muds normally retail for?

khumos

Post by Webbie »

ive had a 2 sets of khumos 31" and 35" and apart from the side walls not being very heavy as far ply rating go's they have been awsome for tyre wear espeicially, they were both mud terain type treads . I also had a crack in the wall from facctory so the replaced it no worries.
Please bear in mind that i have not used them on rocks but i believe that they wouldn't be to bad and depending on how much road work u do there is a tread pattern that they have that neally the lugs are different sizes so that means less road harmonics(noise).

two of my mates are running 35in kumho muddies on their rigs, and the wear on them is shocking!

they don't like the rocks at all, and have chunked out heaps. though they seem to work pretty bloody good in mud

I had a set on the rear of my buggy and they were for ever taking lugs off on rocks and the likes.

Very noisy on the Road..
