Converting to LP Gas

Im looking for converting an FJ40 4.2ltr 6cyl to Gas. It will run on dual fuel.

Any ideas how much is gonna cost me and any sujestions where to do it?

I had a FJ45 4.2 on gas, geez it sucked it down, i hope you're looking at getting a big tank..
Four wheels (Driving) good, two wheels bad.

NP Pajero with added goodness..

I got mine proffesionally done for $2k including tune up and rerouting muffler. Goes well when everything is working...and i can get 250-300km off a 65lt usable tank. which works out to be less than half the price for a full tank of unleaded for roughly the same distance.


I've heard of guys getting units for wrekers. not my cup of tea...but heaps cheaper.

I got a rough quote on the weekend for my FJ40 with a 307 chev.

without seeing the car he said to estimate $2500.

Mine is a weekend warrior cause I have a company car, so $2500 in fuel will go a long way for me.

I am just going to go for a tune and a better carby.
