HI, this is Heath from the Gold Coast.
I used to have an 89 Feroza DX narrow track in classic red and white!

Suspension - TJM Series 2000 shocks, custom rear springs - 60mm lift. Removed sway bar.
Engine - Std with extractors, 2 inch system right through. no intake mods. MRT 10mm plug leads. The head has been rebuilt recently with a full valve replacement.
Tyres - 30x9.5 BFG Muddies on 15x7 sunnys from suzi.
Accessories - Kenwood CD with Sony amp, Kenwood 7"x10" in the rear.
- Uniden UHF CB mounted at the rear of the centre console.
- Hella 100 w spotties mounted on the roof.

Wish list - GQ Patrol/Mav shorty. (Feroza is getting old now with 325000 k's on it) or maybe a late model widetrack Feroza - and then do the works on it straight away.

Thanks
Heath :P

EDIT - This was sold ages ago and now drive a Nissan GQ Patrol LWB

Hi all, my name is David and I'm from Adelaide.

I've just bought a '92 Feroza ELIII; actually I've had it for all of three days now. :) It's my first 4WD, so you'll have to excuse all the questions I've been posting....

It's basically stock standard and came with a couple of accessories fitted - 100W driving lights, tinted windows and Rola roof racks (already removed). Best of all it's in immaculate condition both inside and out.

I've already fitted an alarm/ immobiliser and will be looking into further mods as money allows.

First mod will most likely be fixing up the dodgey exhaust (smaller back section piping pushed into larger front piping and welded up to seal it!!!!)

PS: All you other guys with bog standard vehicles don't have to be shy about posting now :D

Edit:

Since posting this there have been a couple of mods: dual battery system, electric thermo fan, K&N airfilter, Hurricane extractors, 2" stainless exhaust system, 15 x 7 CSA Ranger RV wheels and 235/70R15 Cooper A/T tyres, water tank, rear storage system, Bilstein shocks, 45mm lifted leaf springs...........

G'day Andy
My Missus would kill me if I took anything else off the car.
I already copped a roasting for taking off the bullbar,
it was the worst excuse for a bullbar I have ever seen.
But I convinced her in the end

It's been a while since I've been here but I'm glad to be back,

I'm Jerome G. from the Philippines. I got to inherit my Dad's '92 Feroza EL in good condition. It's basically stock, but I had the shocks changed recently to Explorer Pro Comp ES1000s.

Other mods/add-ons:
Pioneer CD/MP3/WMA player
Cobra 800 alarm system
JAOS universal mud flaps

I plan to change the air filter soon to either K&N or Simota.

Oh, my tail lights was stolen just days ago but I found old replacments. Just proves there is still a market for the mighty Feroza!

Im a Rocky Owner from the US. Actualy I now own 2. I got my first about 2 year ago and loved it but the transmission took a dive :x and it was out of commision for 8month I just resently got another one with a great body and good transmission but the previous owner didnt change the timeing belt an when it broke it screwed the engine over. Well I now have all the parts I just have to get things back together.
Everything has just go alot more complicated for US rocky owners. Last year was the 10th year that Daihatsu left the US. The Former dealers no longer have to support anything. No more dealer parts, no more droping by to see the service manuel, no more anything.
:D Glad i found this site with ppl that understand the pain in the ass im going threw. Expect to start seeing lots more of me around.
