--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
looks great
how long do you think it will be before you have it on the road and rego'd? [quote]
Its already regoed
Its classed as a rebody in nsw,Main critera is for the bod to be of at least same year or later, for adr purposes, Its an 83 range Rover chassis
90 soft top zook body,
They do all your rules from the chassis make and year , Engineer i had priviously talked to Has since passed away , he was a nice fellow to .
I talked to some new ones on last friday and have had some good results with one.
Of course he wants to see some email pics ,Before making a decision
Main thing i have to do is keep the front body strengh , To counter this
I,ll be adding a full cage that incorporates , a front section starting in front of the shock tower as high as the tower and slopes up and ties with the front internal loop, at the firewall maybe under the windscreen Clamps. That section will double as a frame for the inner gaurds.
It will never be finished Once its certified for the bod, The
world is our oyster Hehe , As far as the RTA will be concerned it will
be a Range rover always, so nearly any diff motor box combo is possible .You can see the size of the tunnel in the cab ,
It runs a range Pedal assembly so its already set up for either manual or auto ,
Pics Of rear Nam ,
100" Tim ,
Damo- mmmm Big block !
This rear section is booty lishas at the moment.
I don't have a tube bender so the top frame is just a template until i gEt one bent up.
It will be a part of the roll bar, Idea if you can imagine it is to make a fake panel to make it look ute like agian
So need to keep all the stuff under a certian hieght,
Rad is on this angle in the hope that it may cop the suck from behind the roof at speed, won,t have a prob cooling at crawling speeds , its a three
core heavy duty RR with twin 15" Davies criags,
Thanks for all the kind words guys ,
anyways heres the Booty hunter !
