Post by nicbeer »

A couple of people may have already read this on suzishop.

I ended up getting the MonoForm 31x10rs muddies on 15x7s. The Rims came that color to me. Dunno about colour change yet.

The Monoforms who don't know are a recap tyre made by the same people as the Mongrels but these are same as a BFG Mud pattern. about $110 each

cheers

People actually DO work, so they get paid, so they can buy stuff, rather than being on here for many hours at work.

yeah, i've seen the stuff in a can at my local metal land store. i had some crazy idea of spraying the whole car in it. then it'd be harder to see the dents in the body work.

Gunmetal hammered finish paint looks OK.
My brother used to have the rim on his old lux painted in that colour.

I have heard that once you use hammer paint you cant use normal paint on them again later because of the stuff in the paint that makes it dimple up fawks the paint that gos on over it.

What lift are you running nicbeer? I can see extended shackles and I would presume OME suspension (yellow shocks)?

Close. I went for COFAP shocks as they are cheap(bout $70 each for me)

2" Spring lift APE springs. RUF (I have cut orig mount off and moved back)
.5" axle move forwards
Front hilux shocks COFAP
Rear Jackaroo rocks COFAP
1" extended shackles.
