G16B Dropping Cylinders

Post by antt »

well, seeing as my vitara is doing everything it can to get me to burn it this week, over the last few days its developed a habit of dropping cylinders whenever there is a load on the motor and ya put ya foot down.

am gonna try the usual things tomorrow, fuel filter, plugs, leads etc. but was wondering if there is another common fault that could cause this :?

if it's dropping cylinders there's an easy fix... just pick them up and put them back in ;)

replaced the fuel filter today, stuffed around with the plugs and leads to try and isolate them, doesn't seem to be one of any of those. ran it with and without the airfilter, no difference. have thrown some of that injector cleaner crap into it to see if that makes any difference, but i doubt it.

Also make sure all the sensors are intact and plugged in. TPS,ego etc
