Its not going to Catch up unless people start voting for it. I dont think Sam is going to start buying a couple of hundred mags just to get in.
You guys want to see a clear winner this time at TTC. No Winching,No Crawling and no piss farting around.
Then VOTE 1 team 23 HAULTECH ENGINEERING and THE MOG ROVER and come watch Sam DRIVE IT!

Keep voting people... don't leave it till the last minute. The candidates list is growing so don't think that everyone will simply walk right in.
Remember 4x4 monthly, page 22 - rip it out, fill it in (make sure you put Team FireTruck on one of those lines) and mail it in so your votes count!
Apart from that I wanna go play with my cool new stuff... full hydro steering, coil overs, high clearance D60's... bring it awn!

I,ll be honest about this unless you have a very large club behind you ,and even with it,
You arnt going to to get the votes to gian an entry ,
as far as what people say happens with the voting , its quite simple if you want to compete in this thing your all but on your own don,t let the leaders get to far a head , you simply won't be able to catch up
Voting sucks-
Should have been a single long qualifying track the weekend before,
Open to first sixty there on the day, The thirty that drive the furthest
on the day ,are in - if it brakes on the first obsticle or you nuff it Bad luck.
Interstate guys could leave there trucks somwhere local to save trailer time. .
jmo Any body who got in previously without buying mags would be a one off , and amazing . In the last couple of weeks in the previous on the
vote count went totaly beserk one or two of the entrants jumped by hundreds
I want to see the best trucks in it , And its the only way to give every one an equal chance .Past go hards and unkowns .
Voting is Somthing you should have put in the cost column
Hate to be a killjoy but its human nature if they get the chance to bet
they bet on a favorite. The main reason is they get a return , and getting people to take the time and spend the extra few bob to send there votes away for nothing well ,
Have a look at the" what can we do thread ", 60 70 people putting there hand up , if thats all the motivated people on here Divided between half a dozen entrants , not good maths, you gunna have ta spend some bucks for them votes .
makes me
Larry.

...70 people, 3 votes per form, voting over 3 or 4 issues... that's 630-840 votes just based on the people from that 1 thread you talk about... which will make some kind of a difference I'm sure. Then take into account all the other BB's around the place, the regular readers, the club votes, etc...
Only way to get the trucks in you want to see is to vote for them.
Who can afford to buy hundreds of these mags after paying the entry fee and setting their truck up??? I am relying 100% on the support of the public - keep voting!!

Go the mogrover!!!
At first I was just going to vote for the people I wanted in. But when i think about it I wanna see some asskicking as well. The mogrover, beebee and firetruck have a good chance at it. I'm comparing their rigs against the likes of a 32 inch hydro lifted 40!

i'd say quite a few people can, and are currently in the process of doing just that. Don't take it the wrong way firetruck, i am not specifically referring to you!!! But from what i have seen so far it certainly looks that some have baught lots of mags!! If i had the money i'd buy a few hundred and vote for beebee!! Beebee deserves to be there more than most of the entries so far. As much as i dislike 4x4 australia i might have to buy the next issue to send in another vote.
Like I said in the Tuff Truck discussion thread a while ago. I like the magazine voting system. The competitors that will get voted in will be
- seasoned competitors that have a big public following
- new competitors that work there arses off and market themselves to get the public support
- and new competitors who buy heaps of mags and vote themselves in
Either way is fine by me.

Firstly, thanks for the vocal support given in the last few posts! Very inspiring
The reality is that I will probably be spending in the viscinity of $2000-2500 between now and Tuff Truck to prepare my vehicle for Tuff Truck and then another $2500 to be there on the weekend. So that's $4500 just for one event. 1Madengineer (my spotter) and I have spent well in excess of $15,000 this year on competitions and modifications. The money tree is dead! I think it still has the bogger prints on it from when I tramplled it early in the year After spending the $$ to get ready for the event, I don't want to miss out on being voted in.
Buying my way into the comp is not an option at this stage so I am relying on your votes. So if you have a spare spot on the voting slip, then vote for me - I need it

Unless you break your Toyota drivetrain first
What you need to do is hit the ramp with speed like they would in an action movie so the Rockrail will pirouette through the air before it lands.
You may need to drive through a heap of cardboard boxes first to make it authentic.
