GU Patrol mysterious water leak

Post by fatgu »

Both channels that the wiring looms run down the side of the car were full of water. I have pulled all the seats out and lifted the carpets out and checked all the bungs in the floor pans, all seem to be there, where the wiring looms come through the fire wall seem to be intact aswell. If anyone has had a simillar problem i would love to hear about it or maybe any ideas on where to check next i would appreciate it.

Hi John,

I'm considering purchasing a GU 3.0 lt turbo diesel. What sort of milage are you getting, and how much better is it with the Dtronic chip.

Also can you get aftermarket spare parts for the vehicle as I have once owned a GQ and could only purchase Genuine parts which are expensive.

Is the servicing cost on the diesel expensive?

Any help is greatly appreciated
