Hey
Is it a common thing to snap the factory rear shock mount, I managed to snap the pin clean out of the crossmember.
Short of welding a new one in, can I use a bolt instead? Obviously the right size and thickness?
Damn thing also pretzeled the shockie. Doh - only a 2 month old...
cheers

Dayum! I have never seen/heard one of those.
Sure is a good excuse for moving the mounts and going for longer shocks though Pity about lunching the new shock
bazooked wrote:hey nic there is no point in tiltin ur shocks in to fit longer 1s unless u have longer springs... damo u should no this.............. , also tiltin them in increases body roll dramatically.
When he goes to longer springs further down the track his shocks will already be done and if he doesn't, no biggie!
Oh, and BTW.... [Sgt. Schultz]I know nothing![/Sgt. Schultz]
Cheers for the replies.
Seems that the shock may have bottomed out severly? not quiet sure but i am going to space out the bumpstops out anyway as a percaution.(sp)
Only using std lifted springs for a while. Money is going elsewhere, as well.
Could I use a bolt here or should i get it rewelded in?
cheers
